D.J. is widely acclaimed for his inspirational, “tell me, show me” presentations, where he describes various possibilities and shows how to create that look with various lighting techniques: from simple to complex in just moments.
You’ll watch as he builds a completely different looking lighting set-up every few minutes. This interactive live show will blast you with real-time effects of shooting it live and showing the results on the big screen. You’ll see the differences between: angle of placement, light modifiers, distance from subject and background, angles of coverage and bouncing or diffusing the light. These are among the many factors that affect photographic dimensionality and quality. You’ll see it and realize how easily you can make your images look better and sell for more money. These lighting techniques are what give you complete control of your images in any situation. Knowledge is power!
D.J. will demonstrate the wireless control of Pocket Wizards™ and the use of Sekonic™ wireless light meters, and will employ various brands of light modifiers in different situations to compare results. He will use Lumedyne™ Portable Flash Equipment to show that these flashes can be as bright as full, direct sunlight and do not have to be large and cumbersome. They can hang easily from a light stand or a shoulder strap, and go anywhere at anytime. Many of D.J.’s examples will demonstrate how just one Lumedyne kit can produce outstanding results, limited only by your imagination. Every photographer will find some new inspiration in this two hour+ blast of ideas and images!
