PROSHOTS UPDATE
Make sure you have the latest version 6.2.17 together with the latest catalogue installed to get the optimum from your ProShots. Remember that Kodak will now be charging when it comes time to renew your registration. If you have been a ProShots user, using the total workflow, your registration will be US$99. If you have not used ProShots as it was designed your re-registration will be US$249., plus a $200 fee to Nulab which will be rebated after the first $1000 worth of ProShots orders received by the lab.
Job Tracking.
As we get busier and spend more time on the phones supporting our clients, please help us by tracking your work online, instead of calling our customer service team, just to see when your order will be completed.
Also please remember that at this time of the year with Christmas approaching, there may be some delays in deliveries .Our service times are only recommended times in lab, do not forget to add delivery time.
Please allow enough time for your appointments to take this into consideration
Black and White Film Processing has been stopped. We recommend that you use Kodak BW400 CN film which is actually processed in C41
KODAK UC (Ultracolor).
This film is good for commercial and controlled lighting conditions. It has increased saturation which improves some types of photography. However we found that it does not handle under exposure well, it is very contrasty , and we
DO NOT RECOMMEND IT for wedding photography. You will not be happy with the results.

Balancing Light Outdoors.
  • Match type of light..hard light to hard light and soft light to soft light.
  • Remember film is less sensitive to open shade than it is to electronic flash.
  • Place “additive-light” on the same side as the brightest light on the subject.
  • The lighting ratio should be soft
  • No evidence that you added light
  • If your shutter speed is slower than the reciprocal of the focal length of your lens, you must use a tripod.
  • Remember without light and shadow there can be no form.
  • You cannot control light until you can SEE it.
